Vanessa Ryhner out for several months

EVZ forward Vanessa Ryhner has suffered a foot injury and will be out for several months.

The 27-year-old Ryhner suffered an injury to her foot last week at the training camp in Zell am See. Further examinations at the cantonal hospital in Zug have now revealed that the forward has torn several ligaments in her ankle and will be out for at least two months.

Vanessa Ryhner will therefore also miss the women’s team’s season opener in the PostFinance Women’s League – on September 20, the EVZ will host SC Bern for a home game in the BOSSARD Arena. Before that, Head Coach Daniela Diaz’s team will play various preparation games against Davos, Bern, Memmingen and Fribourg. Admission is free for all test games in the BOSSARD Arena.
