The Women’s U18 World Championship will take place in Vantaa, Finland, from 4 to 12 January. Head coach Melanie Häfliger’s team also includes three players from Zug: defenceman Lorena Wrann and the two forwards Naemi Herzig and Jael Manetsch. All three were already part of the national team at the home World Cup in the BOSSARD Arena a year ago.
Switzerland will face the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Canada in the group stage. The quarter-finals start on 9 January, with the final taking place on 12 January.
