EVZ vs HC Davos Ladies

The second-placed Zug team will welcome their closest rivals to the BOSSARD Arena on Saturday (February 15, 6 p.m.).

The final rounds of the PostFinance Women’s League promise pure excitement. The top of the table is fiercely contested. Three games before the end of qualifying, SC Bern are top of the table, one point ahead of EVZ and seven ahead of HC Davos Ladies (1 game less played). The latter will visit the BOSSARD Arena on Saturday. The three meetings in the championship so far have all ended with a one-goal difference – two in Zug’s favor, one in the Grisons’. The last encounter, however, ended with a clear result. EVZ won the semi-final of the National Cup 7:3, paving the way for the eventual title win. Zug have a strong record of six wins and one defeat in 2025, while Davos have lost three of their five games. Their most recent defeat was 3:4 against the ZSC Lions; incidentally, the only opponent to beat the EVZ this year.

Not only is the race for the top two places in the table – and thus direct qualification for the semi-finals – wide open, but also the top scorer ranking. Davos’ Elizabeth Lang is currently in the lead with 47 points, followed by Bern’s Estelle Duvin (46), Zug’s Lara Stalder and Rahel Enzler and Maija Otamo from Bern (44 each). In terms of points per match, no player can hold a candle to the EVZ captain. Lara Stalder is the only player with more than two points per game. She missed several matches for health reasons, including the most recent one against SC Langenthal Damen last Tuesday. The Zug team won that game 2:0, with Jael Manetsch and Rahel Enzler scoring the goals and goalie Chiara Pfosi celebrating her third shutout of the season.

The game against HC Davos Ladies will be followed by the first EIS Disco in the BOSSARD Arena.
