The EVZ has signed forward Sinia Gubser until the end of the season. Vanessa Ryhner has to take a break until further notice for health reasons.

“We are delighted that Sinia has chosen EVZ,” says head coach Daniela Diaz. “She is an ambitious and talented young player who will be an important addition to our squad.” Gubser spent the last four years in North America, where she trained at the Ontario Hockey Academy and Fort Erie International Academy.

Now the native of eastern Switzerland is returning to her homeland and joining the EVZ Women’s Team. “EVZ offers me the perfect overall package: professional structures, optimal training conditions, and a competitive team with big goals,” says the 19-year-old from Gubser, explaining her choice. “At the same time, the club also supports my education, which creates an ideal environment for me to develop both athletically and personally. I am extremely excited about this new challenge and want to contribute to the team’s success with a lot of commitment and passion.” The forward has been training with EVZ since the beginning of the week and will make her debut on Saturday wearing the number 25 jersey.
