National Cup round of 16 against GCK

The EVZ Women’s Team will face the GCK Lions in the Cup round of 16. The game will take place in the Swiss Life training hall.

On Sunday, 30 November 2025, the eight teams in the PostFinance Women’s League will start the round of 16 of the Women’s National Cup. The draw at Swiss Ice Hockey resulted in the following round of 16 pairings, with the lower-ranked teams each having home ice:

 

HC Ajoie Ladies (SWHL-C) – Neuchâtel Hockey Academy (PFWL)

SC Bern (PFWL) – ZSC Lions (PFWL)

Brandis Juniors Ladies (SWHL-B) – SC Langenthal Ladies (PFWL)

SCRJ Lakers Ladies (SWHL-B) – HC Davos Ladies (PFWL)

ZSC Lions Girls (SWHL-C) – HC Fribourg-Gottéron (PFWL)

Dragon Queens (SWHL-C) – Neuchâtel Hockey Academy 1999 (SWHL-C)

GCK Lions Women (SWHL-B) – EVZ (PFWL)

EHC Zunzgen-Sissach (SWHL-B) – HC Ambri-Piotta (PFWL)

 

The exact match date and time will be published at the beginning of next week.

 

As is customary in the PostFinance Women’s League, bodychecks will be used in the National Cup match between SC Bern and the ZSC Lions. All other cup games will be played without bodychecks.

FURTHER ROUNDS AND TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

The quarter-finals will take place on 20 December 2025. The winners of these matches will qualify for the Final 4 tournament, which will take place on 16 and 17 January 2026 at the Vaudoise Aréna in Lausanne. Not only will the two semi-finals and the final be played there, but also the match for third place. Advance tickets for the Final 4 tournament went on sale on Thursday, 20 November 2025 at www.sihf.ch/ticketing.

 

The draw will be made anew for each round; there is no seeding list.

All matches of the Women’s National Cup will be broadcast live and free of charge on RED+.
