Lara Stalder is one of the EVZ Women’s Team’s biggest stars. As one of Europe’s best ice hockey players, she transferred from Swedish top club Brynäs to the newly founded EVZ Women’s Team in the SWHL-B, Switzerland’s second-highest women’s league, in the summer of 2023.
The rest is history. Now 31, Stalder led the Zug team as captain to promotion to the PostFinance Women’s League in their debut season. In the following season, the forward scored 59 points (regular season and playoffs), advanced to the playoff final with EVZ, and won the cup.
Now the success story continues. Lara Stalder, who has already scored a total of 39 points in the current season and is also an indispensable member of the Swiss national team, is extending her contract with EVZ, which was originally set to expire in spring 2026, ahead of schedule by another two years until 2028.
