Luisa Waser has been a member of the Zug women’s team since it was founded in 2023. The Engelberg native was part of the team that won promotion in 2024 and the cup in 2025. The 25-year-old also played in all 21 games (10 goals, 6 assists) in the PostFinance Women’s League this season. Another highlight awaited Luisa Waser in November: as part of the Euro Hockey Tour in Ängelholm (SWE), the Zug forward played her first games for the senior national team against Finland, Sweden, and Czechia, and immediately recorded an assist. She has now extended her contract early until the end of the 2027/28 season and wants to continue writing the success story of the EVZ Women’s Team.
The EVZ Women’s Team can continue to count on the services of Luisa Waser and Nina Harju in the future. Both have signed new contracts until 2028.
Nina Harju has the same goal. The 21-year-old defenseman is assistant captain of the current leaders of the PostFinance Women’s League and, like Luisa Waser, has not missed a game this season. In 21 games, she has scored 3 goals and 3 assists. Harju, who moved from the ZSC Lions to the EVZ Women’s Team in the summer of 2023, is also a regular member of the Swiss national team.
«With Luisa Waser and Nina Harju, two important pillars of the team have committed themselves to EVZ.»
Daniela Diaz, Head Coach EVZ Women’s Team
Diaz continues: «Their contract extensions are important cornerstones for our squad planning, and we are very pleased to be taking the next important steps in our organization with them both.»
The EVZ Women’s Team roster for the 2026/27 season is thus continuing to take shape. Two weeks ago, captain Lara Stalder already extended her contract with EVZ. Discussions are also underway with other players.
