Yara Keller and Leonie Kutzer extend their contracts with EVZ

The EVZ Women’s Team roster continues to take shape for the coming season. Goalie Yara Keller (20) and defender Leonie Kutzer (20) have signed new contracts until spring 2028.

Yara Keller joined EVZ from HC Innerschwyz last spring and has been forming the goalie duo with Chiara Pfosi ever since. The young player from Central Switzerland guarded the EVZ goal in eight regular season games and conceded only six goals. Keller was also recently called up to the Prospect Women’s National Team, her first national team call-up at senior level.

Leonie Kutzer is already an Austrian national team player. She played in all regular season games for the EVZ Women’s Team and is now aiming for the double with her teammates starting in March. Kutzer has been part of the EVZ squad since the Women’s Team was founded, originally transferring from SC Rheintal to Lake Zug.

«I am delighted that we will be able to continue on the path we have chosen at EVZ with Yara and Leonie in the future.»

Daniela Diaz, Head Coach EVZ Women’s Team

Diaz continues: «Both have great potential and, despite their young age, are already important pillars of the team.»

In addition to Yara Keller and Leonie Kutzer, EVZ also announced the extension of Annic Büchi’s contract this week. Lara Stalder, Rahel Enzler, Nina Harju, Luisa Waser, and Alina Marti had already signed new contracts.
