For the 2021/22 season, the 173 cm tall and 77 kg heavy winger decided to move overseas to the organization of the Colorado Avalanche. In the NHL team, however, he did not get a place in the NHL Team and completed the entire season with the Colorado Eagles farm team in the American Hockey League. The following season, Wingerli returned to Skellefteå and scored 15 goals and 20 assists in 69 games. At +25, he also had the best plus-minus record in the entire league during the regular season.

After a total of nine years in the organization of Skellefteå, Andreas Wingerli will now tackle a new challenge in Zug. He has signed a contract with EVZ until 2025. "Andreas is a fast, agile and intelligent player who gives our offensive game more opportunities. However, his plus-minus balance clearly shows that he is also extremely reliable on the defensive and takes responsibility.
