Claudio Cadonau joins the EVZ for the 2020/21 season with a two-year contract from the SCL Tigers.
The 31-year-old defensive player grew up in the GCK Lions' youth teams and made his debut in the National League with ZSC in the 2007/08 season. He has so far played 230 matches in the top division for ZSC, Biel and Langnau. For the 2018/19 season he moved from Langenthal to Langnau, where his contract expires at the end of the season. Claudio Cadonau is 185 cm tall and weighs 97 kg. He is considered an experienced, physically strong defender with a good shot and can also be used in power play and box play.
Reto Kläy once brought the future Zuger to SC Langenthal, with whom he won the Championship in the second highest League three times. The EVZ General Manager is convinced that Cadonau's qualities will also be brought to bear on the EVZ.
