A Most Popular Player (MPP) of the National League has been chosen every year since 2009. The winner is not chosen by a panel of experts, but by the public or the fans. Andres Ambühl from HC Davos has already received the trophy eight times, making him the sole record holder. In 2025, the election will again be held in collaboration with Blick. The final result of the MPP election will be published at the Swiss Ice Hockey Night on July 31, 2025.
