Girls Hockey School Young Bulls
EVZ invites girls to the ice hockey school! With the launch of the Women & Girls program, the EVZ has set itself the goal of using a sustainable strategy to specifically promote girls and establish women's ice hockey as a competitive sport in Switzerland.
The hockey school is the basis of the entire training pyramid. It leads the girls and boys through the entry level into junior sport, from there into competitive sport and finally into professional sport. "For the training pyramid to work, we need to have as broad a base as possible. The greater the input at the bottom, the greater the output at the top," Head of Sport Reto Kläy regularly emphasizes when talking about the importance of training work with the youngest players.
