The first families arrived at the festival site at 10 a.m. and were greeted by a colorful program: Bouncy castles, pony rides, goal wall shooting, a painting competition, face painting and much more awaited the youngest guests. In the afternoon, a magician’s tricks not only made the young fans’ eyes bulge, but also those of the adults.
EVZ’s popular summer event took place on Saturday, August 17. In addition to a varied family program on the Arenaplatz, the men’s and women’s teams provided the best entertainment together with legends on the ice.
SHOW MATCH PROVIDES GREAT ENTERTAINMENT
A long queue formed in front of the main entrance to the BOSSARD Arena from midday: the autograph session was on the agenda. The players from the men’s and women’s teams fulfilled numerous requests for autographs and photos, putting a smile on everyone’s face. Later in the afternoon, the next highlight of the EIS Fäscht was the show match, hosted by Nik Hartmann. In mixed teams of women, men and legends, Team Blau and Team Wiis first competed against each other in entertaining skills competitions in which the focus was on speed, accuracy and puck control. In the subsequent match, the two teams created a great atmosphere with tricks and show interludes for the more than 3,000 spectators in the stadium.
LIVE MUSIC AND GOOD FOOD
To round off the summer event – the rain did nothing to dampen the mood and the slightly cooler temperatures invited guests to linger outdoors – guests were treated to a wide range of food and drink and the best live music from “Polly wants a Party” on the Arenaplatz. Together with the players, who mingled with the audience after the show match, the end of the hockey-free summer break was toasted – the 2024/25 season can come!
