Following in-depth discussions after the first season of the EVZ Women’s Team, the EVZ and Christoph Scherrer have mutually decided to end their collaboration. Scherrer joined Zug in the spring of 2023 as assistant coach under Daniela Diaz and this year managed the direct promotion from the SWHL B to the PostFinance Women’s League, the highest Swiss women’s league, with the EVZ women.
While the players have been in summer training since the beginning of May, the recruitment of a new assistant coach with a 50% workload is currently underway.
The EVZ would like to thank Christoph Scherrer for his commitment and wishes him all the best for the future.
