The women’s team will kick off its first season in the PostFinance Women’s League on Friday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. with a home game against SC Bern. The last encounter with the Bernese team ended in disappointment for the EVZ – in the cup final, they lost to the eventual play-off finalists by the narrowest of margins in a penalty shoot-out. They will now seek revenge in their first championship game. Two days later, on Sunday, September 22, they will travel to Biasca for their first away game against HC Ambrì-Piotta Girls.
EVZ’s ambitions in Switzerland’s top women’s league are also clear: “We’re really looking forward to our first season in the PostFinance Women’s League. In our premiere season in the SWHL-B, the players and we as a team were able to make great progress thanks to the excellent conditions in Zug and thus form a competitive team that can also compete for the championship title in the top league,” says Head Coach Daniela Diaz.
All PostFinance Women’s League games will be broadcast on RED+.
The EVZ starts the new season with a home game in mid-September. The opening game is a Cup rematch against SC Bern.

Advance ticket sales for the PostFinance Women’s League games are expected to start at the end of August. Season tickets for all home games of the Women’s Team can already be purchased now.
