Under expert guidance, kids are introduced to ice hockey in a playful way at the hockey school. Every Wednesday, boys aged 4 to 8 and girls aged 4 to 11 can gain their first experience on the ice. “First and foremost, it’s all about having fun!” says Ursula Slongo, head of the basic and acquisition level. “The children should get to know the sport of ice hockey in a playful way, they should experience something with other kids and have fun.”
The hockey school is free of charge. Only the ice rink entrance fee of CHF 3.50 must be paid on site at the entrance. The kids must bring their own skates and a stick; helmets and gloves can be borrowed from EVZ. It is also recommended that girls and boys wear leg and elbow pads.
